Mary Dental is a family run dental clinic. Dr Mariana Habil, principal dentist, has over 20 years of experience in the dental field both locally & overseas.

Coming from a dental family, she enjoys working with adults & children alike. Mariana is passionate about cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics & implant dentistry. She likes to transform her patients’ smile and overall oral health condition.

Dr. Mariana Habil is a highly skilled and compassionate dentist with extensive experience in providing top-tier dental care. After obtaining a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Alexandria University in 2005, Dr. Habil went on to earn a Diploma in Oral Surgery in 2009, further enhancing expertise in complex dental extractions & wisdom teeth surgery.

Over 20 years of professional experience, Dr. Habil has engaged in numerous courses in Endodontics, Orthodontics including Full Face orthodontics by Dr Derek Mahony, Myobrace, SmileFast, clear aligner courses including Invisalign, Full mouth rehabilitation and Oral Implantology courses in Australia and overseas.

Dr Habil has gained a reputation for excellence in both general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, periodontics and oral surgery. Her work spans a variety of procedures, from routine dental check-ups and preventive care to more advanced surgical interventions. Known for a patient-centered approach, Dr. Habil prioritizes comfort and clear communication, ensuring that each patient feels informed and at ease throughout their treatment.

In addition to ther clinical expertise, Dr. Habil is committed to staying current with the latest advancements in dental technology including the integration of 3D scans and CBCT in guided Implant surgery and Maxillary Sinus lift. Through continuous education, she aims to ensure that her patients receive the best care possible, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and evidence-based practices.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Habil enjoys spending time with her family. She loves table tennis, swimming and Basketball.

Dr Ian Vu is a compassionate and patient-focused dentist dedicated to providing high-quality, gentle care for patients of all ages. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interests in preventive care, restorative dentistry, and ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed throughout every stage of their dental journey.

Dr Ian graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Queensland. During his training, he gained extensive clinical experience across metropolitan, regional and rural settings, strengthening his ability to manage a diverse range of dental conditions and patient needs.

Known for his calm and friendly manner, Dr Ian aims to create a relaxed and supportive environment where patients feel at ease. He takes the time to listen, explain treatment options clearly, and tailor care to meet each individual’s unique needs.

Outside of the clinic, Dr Ian enjoys spending time with family and friends, and is passionate about continuing to develop his skills to provide the best possible care for his patients.

Graduated in 2004 and has over 20 years of experience across both public and private sectors, working with a wide range of patients.

Dr Pahwa has completed a Graduate Diploma in Orthodontics from James Cook University (QLD), and has a special interest in Orthodontics (braces), including both fixed appliances and clear aligners such as Invisalign. 

Dr Pahwa gained his further training in Placing Implants, All on 4 treatment with one of the best trainers in their field in Australia 

His other areas of expertise include root canal treatment (posterior and anterior), aesthetic dentistry, smile makeovers, ceramic and composite veneers, Porcelain veneers, ceramic on lays, crowns, bridges, and wisdom teeth extractions, composite bonding, smile design.

He has developed his clinical skills through experience in state hospitals, private practices, and community dental clinics across Australia — including work with Australia’s Indigenous communities.

Dr Pahwa treats patients of all ages and can provide care under General Anaesthetic (GA), including surgical extractions of wisdom teeth. He also has particular strengths in treating clients with special needs or complex medical conditions.

Meet our dental coordinator, Mrs Catherine “Cathy” Silab. She is a professional and approachable dental treatment coordinator. Patient comfort and satisfaction is her main objective. Cathy will make sure that patients are relaxed throughout their treatment.

She is passionate about dentistry and always eager to implement new protocols for our practice.
