A dental crown, or tooth crown, is a prosthetic covering used on a damaged or weakened tooth. It is designed to improve the appearance of the damaged tooth, while also providing strength and support. Crowns are custom made and designed to match the colour, shape, size and alignment of the surrounding teeth.

Placing a Porcelain crown involves 2 steps. The tooth is first prepared by removing any decay or chipping tooth structure, and the remaining tooth is reshaped to accommodate the crown. A Digital Scan of the prepared tooth is then taken in order to create a custom crown. While the permanent crown is being made, a temporary crown can be placed over the tooth to protect it.

Once ready, the permanent crown is bonded onto the tooth. The crown provides a protective barrier, restoring the original tooth’s look, strength and functionality.

Veneers can be made directly in the mouth using a series of photos & digital scans in order to fabricate a mock-up which can then be transferred directly to the teeth for trial / testing of the veneers. Once the patient is happy with how the veneers look like, we then fabricate Emax veneers which will be bonded to your anterior teeth for a stunning smile.
